National Chains –
Tax preparation chains have seasonal preparers who use their questions driven software much like the DIY’er does, to prepare your return. Many of the seasonal prepares do not have accounting degrees or advanced certifications such as a CPA license. My experience with National chains tells me that the “price paid for services does not merit the value received.”
Accounting Fees –
My goal is to save businesses money on accounting services. Every business has their “accountant/tax person” but they are missing their “daily person” and that is Hess Tax & Bookkeeping. We provide accounting services at affordable rates. We do not have the high overhead cost of most accounting firms. We see this as a “win/win.” The business saves money on accounting services, has greater access to “the numbers” in a timely manner and still maintains their “accountant/tax person” if they choose.
