My name is Andrew Hess and I grew up in Luverne, MN. I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Finance from Minnesota State – Mankato. I am a licensed CPA (Certified Public Accountant) in Minnesota.
After college, I began working for a small local CPA firm in Farmington, MN. I quickly gained a passion for tax planning and income tax preparation, but more importantly, helping others. My goal is to make lifelong clients. I want every client to understand his or her tax return or business’ financial position. I do not want anyone to sit at home and wonder why. I want all of my clients to feel comfortable calling me with their questions, big or small. Educating clients so they can keep more of their hard earned money through proper handling of their tax situations is the main reason I enjoy what I do so much.
My work experience has allowed me to gain experience dealing with Individual and Business tax returns (C-Corp, S-Corp, Partnership), as well as bookkeeping and payroll services.
My family and I enjoyed our time in Farmington, but decided Luverne was the best place to raise our family. I am committed to helping the people of Luverne and the surrounding areas understand their tax situations and put the tax laws to work for them.
